Benefiting Hospice of Kitsap and Pierce Counties The net proceeds will be donated to the Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care Outreach, which serves Kitsap and Pierce Counties. Xochi's artwork was accepted into the Peninsula Art League, Seventh Annual Open Juried Art Show, last fall. Xochi uses recycled kitchen cabinet doors as her canvas in some of her works. These make for an unusual, but beautiful, finished piece of art. The doors come from construction projects that otherwise would end up in the landfill. She has completed many commissioned paintings for local business owners as well as a number of friends and family. Xochi just crossed the 11 year mark of living with cancer and is enjoying every minute of her colorful life.
